Gal 3:26-28 (“not male and female…all one in Christ Jesus”) is a well known and oft-quoted passage, yet the question remains as to whether it has been correctly interpreted in the context of the entire letter. This study considers the promise which comes to us through Abraham – the New Covenant – and then addresses the implications of equality in Christ, with particular emphasis on the new freedoms Jesus has delivered to sisters.
